Picture
The free Monthly Guided Walks program is an opportunity to explore Bouddi with local members of the trust sharing their knowledge and passion for their environment. These informal gatherings require a reasonable degree of fitness and participants are responsible for providing for themselves as on any independent bushwalk ie water, snacks, sunscreen etc.

An exploration of Bouddi Point rock platform & the PS Maitland wreck site
Sunday 29 March
Meet at Maitland Bay Centre at 11am

This is an easy walk that is timed to take advantage of the 1pm low tide. Today very little remains of the PS Maitland wreck however the Maitland Bay Centre provides interesting displays and memorabilia related to this tragic event in 1898. The Bouddi NP marine extension is the only one of its kind and although we won't be diving down to see the great diversity of life it protects, the rock platform is extensive and a great place to discover the adaptations needed to survive in such a changeable environment.

Riley’s Bay
Sunday 12 April

Meet at the end of Hardy’s Bay Parade at 10:00 am
This easy walk will explore Riley’s Bay in Bouddi National Park. The walk will encompass the colonial history of the site dating back to the 1830’s, plant and bird identification as well as inspection of the amazing bush regeneration results achieved by Bouddi Bushcare.
